Warts are skin infections and are a type of benign tumor that forms on the upper layer of the skin. Warts are caused by HPV which can be transmitted from one person to another through personal contact or using sharing clothes, towels, etc. warts form on all parts of the body but are most common on fingers, toes, hands and feet. In case of genital warts again the chances are that they may disappear or they may not. In case of genital warts it is best that one consults a dermatologist and does not take any chances or any medication without doctor's consultation. Using surgery, pulse laser and freezing are some of the techniques used in removing genital warts. One should also avoid sex in case one has genital warts as these get transmitted. As most warts are a transmitted disease they will disappear in due course and one need to be patient and if one is really desperate or the warts keep reappearing then getting proper medical advice will help. Should one want to spend money on over the counter advertised wart removal cures then one can try them, if they do or don’t work is up to the person who tries these products.
