A pressure sore starts as a redness of the skin and if the pressure continues the skin will form a blister and will look like a shallow crater. The skin will start to peel and may even expose the bones or underlying tissues. The way to prevent pressure sores is to take a healthy diet and not put pressure on the same point of the body for more then fifteen minutes at a time.
